Work Schedule: Tuesday- Friday, starting at 5am - average stop time of 4:00pm
Reports to: Delivery Supervisor
Job Summary:
This position drives a truck with at least 26,000 GVW over an established route to deliver draft and package beer, wine, and non-alcoholic products in an assigned geographic area; unloads truck; collects payment and related inventory; maintains records of deliveries and payments; and serves as a customer liaison by performing the duties listed below. Requires a valid Class A Commercial Drivers' License.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
1. Completes daily morning check-out procedures, including DOT log completion when necessary.
2. Performs daily visual inspection of vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
3. Organizes route and paperwork for neatness and appropriate time management of work load.
4. Drives truck to transport product to customer's location; unloads and disperses product to customers' storage areas; properly stores product.
5. Rotates product to ensure freshness and pulls close-dated product.
6. Ensures timely and accurate deliveries of product to customers.
7. Completes paperwork by obtaining necessary signatures for delivered products and verifies the order to amount delivered.
8. Collects payments and makes adjustments for returned product.
9. Collects or picks up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise.
10. Handles product properly to minimize breakage; processes breakage and appropriate write-off documentation when needed.
11. Completed check-in procedures, including balancing cash and checks received to invoices; P&E's; and credits.
12. Checks in product and properly stores close-dated product.
13. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills; establishes and maintains effective customer relations; resolves service complaints.
14. Adheres to all appropriate federal, state, and local regulations regarding the sale and merchandising of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
15. Carries out the company's mission statement in all job activities and customer relations.
16. Cleans vehicle; performs routine maintenance on truck; and maintains regular written inspections.
17. Operates other equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, wheelers and other small tools in safe and prudent manner; immediately reports maintenance requirements to supervisor; completes regular written inspections of motorized equipment.
18. Builds displays and marks product when necessary.
19. Attends and participates in company meetings and training sessions.
20. Performs other duties as assigned.
